Vila of the Golden Mermaid
Historic 96 Year old Vila in the heart of quaint town of Ribeirinha
Sao Miguel is considered the most beautiful of the 9 islands of the Azores. Ribeirinha is a small town of 2400 people, 10 minutes next to the second largest city, Ribeira Grande.
This is the first community of Solo Senior CoLiving. Far away from the chaos of the modern dangerous world.
Golden Mermaid
Tiny Pirate Boat
During the Black Plague of 2020, Tiger Lee n' Fred Busack took 2 years to hand build this wooden tall ship Brig. It was designed to sail the ocean blue, but has some electrical issue, so it be more a display boat.
Pirates N Mermaids
Pirates love mermaids. When I started my Hot Pirate Babes calendar, I needed a logo. Since there be no good female skull n bones, I designed the Molly Rogers. She be the little sister of olde Jolly Rogers. Her little sister be a mermaid name Sirena.
Vila of the Golden Mermaid
When visiting Terceira, I came across the many small Chapel of the Holy Spirit. I joked that I would build a Chapel to house my pirate boat if I came to live on the island.
When I bought Vila Laura, I decided to make good on my word. Here be the new crest for the vila.
Pink to Gold
If I am bring the tiny pirate boat over, I might as well rename the vila to accommodate that. So the pink Vila Laura will become the Vila da Sereia Dourada. We plan on holding arrr own annual Mermaid n' Pirate parade to attract tourist to local community of Ribeirinha.
